I have noticed many cases where I live that polygamy is being used in a bad way. Personally I don't agree with it, for I do believe in commitment, and that we are destined to one mate.

There are certain reasons that men here tend to marry others, but these reasons as I have been taught should be highly important and when there is no other solution for it.

Yet these days I guess they’re doing it just for fun. It never bothered me until now when I have discovered that one of my friend is facing this kind of problem.

I can’t do or change anything about it, so I thought of creating a piece, which talks about it. Both spouses in the picture are facing the other way giving their backs to each other, emphasizing that what ever they shared and what ever was between them is now being separated and forgotten.

I don’t know if I have interpreted the idea in the right manner, for I think it is a sensitive matter, and it’s pretty hard to show it. what I really wanted was the man being surrounded by more than one woman, but it’s kind of hard to find models over here!!

This piece is not done in any digital manner; I used the old traditional way of printing in the dark room. The print of course looks much better than the scan here
